To warm up your winter evenings, La Vertueuse offers its range of infusions: bags of whole leaves, dried, 100% natural and locally produced.
Grown on our land in Yssingeaux and hand-picked, our infusions allow you to enjoy all the preserved benefits of the plants. For the past three years, our infusions have been produced from plants grown according to the “organic conversion” specifications. This pesticide-free and chemical-fertiliser-free agriculture should soon allow us to obtain the official AB organic certification.
The Verbena infusion: a true tradition at the end of a meal for our elders, it has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal and soothing properties. Verbena is known for its digestive benefits, helping to relieve stomach aches and nausea. It is also recommended to ease menstrual pain and stress.
The Mint infusion: beyond its captivating natural aromas, mint has real antiseptic properties thanks to the menthol contained in its leaves. It also has relaxing and decongestant benefits, particularly useful to help you face the cold and its inconveniences!
The Lemon thyme infusion: a plant appreciated both for its benefits and its aromas! Lemon thyme, a delicious traditional infusion, has antiviral and antibacterial properties. It therefore helps our body fight the small viruses of winter.
Its little extra: it can also be used in cooking, on grilled meats, roast chicken and even desserts.
Recipe (for a gourmet cup):
- 10 g of leaves.
- 120 to 150 ml of water.
♦ Bring the water to a boil.
♦ Add the leaves and let them infuse for about 10 minutes, ideally covered to preserve all the aromas.
♦ Then strain the infused water using a fine sieve to remove the leaves.
Enjoy hot after a good meal or throughout the day.
Feel free to mix flavours and plants for even more taste!
